I love photography.
I love anticipating the shot and documenting life just as it is.

I have a degree in Public Recreation
(yes, a four year degree in the art of play)
and pursued a career as a professional photographer for over ten years.

And business was good.

But these days, all I want to do is take pictures of my own family and all the awesomeness that makes up our lives.

The very best thing in my life right now is my family. I love them all to pieces. And these kids are growing up faster than I ever even imagined possible. I don't want to look back some day and be sad I chose the good things instead of the best things.

What else? I'm a big fan of Diet Coke.
I love pilates and am a pretty good baker.
I took up mountain biking because I had a fear of missing out when my husband and kids went biking.
(Admittedly, I like it. I am the muddiest off every trail, and I tell my family that whoever comes off the trail the muddiest had the most fun!)

Someday, I want to drive an old, two door Jeep Wrangler.

I’ve got a crazy, little family of five;
Dan and our three kiddos, Leif, Tatum, and Rhys.
And two rescue cats, Mable & Dipper.

They are why I take pictures.

"...follow your heart kid, and you'll never go wrong."
